For the second year in a row, Projectline has been named Seattle’s Best Small Company in the NWJobs People’s Picks Awards. In a race against hundreds of other small, Seattle-based companies, comments submitted by Projectline’s employees and subcontractors truly stood out in the eyes of contest judges.
Members of the Projectline team shared about the company’s forward-thinking, respectful, and friendly managers, unique benefits like bus passes and chair massages, and, above all, the sense of camaraderie and teamwork that is felt day-to-day in interactions with coworkers.
Projectline is proud that recognition in this contest speaks to the fulfillment of the company mission, “To positively impact the people we work with, the people we work for, and the people in our community.” The fact that Projectline is a great place to work has a positive impact not only on the company’s employees, but on the clients and partners who work with Projectline every day.
“We founded Projectline on a core premise that work becomes ‘work’ when you no-longer love what you do. Winning this award in two consecutive years is a real testament to successfully building a culture around our belief that the happier you are, the more you can achieve,” says Projectline President, Mike Kichline.
“Projectline has more savvy, nice people under one roof than any other company I’ve worked for. When I walk into our office I feel the Projectline pride and see how much that motivates us. We’re continually innovating, bringing a higher level of quality to our clients,” adds Marketing Consultant Kris Orlowski.
A division of NWSource, a Seattle Times Company, NWJobs is the premier Northwest employment resource website, where local job-seekers can search for great positions, post resumes, and get tips on interviewing, salary information, and more.
Projectline may be known for forward thinking and modernism when it comes to marketing ideas, but deep in our hearts, we are also a little nostalgic for the best of the past. This holds true even when it comes to networking – so last week we let our Facebook Group take a little nap and invited a few hundred people to visit us in person at our Seattle office. In person? I know, say it isn’t so. I met dozens of new friends, reconnected with some familiar faces, and thoroughly enjoyed the “live” experience, reminding me that there is room for both virtual and actual social spaces (speaking of, if you haven’t see it already, you should check out the Meet Up promo video). Have a look at some of the photos from our party here, and, if you attended, leave a comment on our blog and let us know what you thought.
