What’s New?
Projectline Ranked Top Northwest Company by Inc. Magazine
For the third consecutive year, Projectline Services, Inc. has earned a place on Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
For more than thirty years, the Inc. list has served as evidence of the significant accomplishments of America’s top entrepreneurs. The 2010 list, in particular, speaks to the creativity and resilience of businesses who have continued to grow in a down economy.
Projectline owners David Jones, Mike Kichline, and Anika Lehde are proud to celebrate the company’s ongoing year over year growth. “Our Business Intelligence and Marketing Operations divisions have really been thriving this year,” says President Mike Kichline. “We’re excited that we’ve been able to maintain success in our Customer Engagement Marketing and Consulting Services divisions while expanding these newer arms of our business,” adds Vice President Anika Lehde.
David Jones contributes: “It’s great to see how we’ve maintained a steady growth curve in a down economy. Our expectations for the next year are even loftier and we are excited about the new clients we have taken on.”
Jones, Kichline, and Lehde also continue to closely monitor the overall health of their business, keeping a constant eye on the wellbeing, success, and happiness of their team. “It’s so great to be able to put this award on the wall next to our Best Workplaces awards,” says Human Resources Manager Leisl Hill. “Not only are our employees happy, they’re productive, their clients are happy, and they’re helping this company grow.”
Microsoft SharePoint Senior Product Manager and Projectline client Mitch Gatchalian echoes this sentiment. “Our programs have consistently been enhanced by the professionalism of our partners at Projectline. Their commitment to their customers’ success has really shined through over the past years. Congratulations to the Projectline team for this well-earned achievement.”

One of Washington’s Best!
Projectline is proud to be selected as a finalist in Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2010 Washington’s Best Workplaces program.
Based on employee feedback about company leadership, work/life balance, benefits offerings, and more, the award is a true indication that the spirit and vitality of Projectline’s culture has remained even as the company has grown.
“This is really a huge honor,” says Human Resources Manager Leisl Hill. “It’s my first year here at Projectline, and the amount of openness and camaraderie I’ve seen is pretty exceptional. It’s awesome to know that our team feels valued and supported.”
The Puget Sound Business Journal will announce and celebrate each of the list’s finalists at a ceremony on August 12th.
Growing again: Projectline Bellevue is on the move
Projectline is excited to announce that it is relocating its Eastside branch to the modern Symetra Building, which is closer to the heart of Bellevue’s downtown business district than the current Key Center space. Located on the twentieth floor, the office boasts great views of Seattle and Lake Washington. The new space will house the 20 members of Projectline’s Eastside team, with plenty of desks to accommodate new employees as the team expands. The spacious office also provides additional conference areas and extra seating for other Projectliners who feel like dropping in for the day.
“We’ve really made our current office our own, and we’ve loved working here,” says Bellevue Office Lead Eric Foster. “But, we’ve outgrown our space, and we’re looking forward to having a little more room to stretch out.”
The new Bellevue office is scheduled to open the first week of April. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and check out the new digs!
Projectline Establishes Operations in the UK
Projectline Services has established operations in the UK to better serve existing global clients and offer its services to new clients based in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Led by owners Mike Kichline, David Jones, and Anika Lehde, Projectline’s strategic move into Europe will enable the firm to bring its integrated marketing processes and customer engagement expertise to technology companies with offices in the fast-growing region.
“We’re extremely excited about the opportunity to be closer to our existing GMT client base, and to bolster our team with local talent as we continue to take on new global programs and customers,” says Projectline President Mike Kichline. “The London area is an ideal fit for us as we endeavor to serve a broader clientele around the world.”
Vice President Anika Lehde adds, “It’s really important to us that our mission—which centers around a commitment to positive impact—carries over and is upheld by our UK team. Making sure we have a positive impact on our clients, each other, and the local community has been a fundamental part of our success, so we’ll continue to maintain that undertaking as we expand.”
Damian Hoffman, a senior member of the Projectline team for the past three years, will be the UK team lead.
A New Holiday Tradition for Projectline
Last year around this time, Projectline noticed Toys for Tots was in trouble and pitched in to improve the holiday for a whole lot of kids. We’ve hit the holiday season with big plans again this year. Our holiday charity campaign this year is a little more serious, but no less important; we’ve decided to help out local treatment center New Traditions by meeting its participants’ needs—and hopefully a few wants—this holiday.
What is New Traditions?
New Traditions is a chemical dependency treatment center for women and their families. The program aims to sidestep some of the common roadblocks to recovery for addicted mothers “by providing…on-site childcare and a multi-layered support network.”
How is Projectline Pitching In?
Projectline made a commitment to sponsor 67 people’s holiday wishes by donating everything from baby bottles to kitchen appliances. In all, we’re hoping to donate over $10,000 in new and used items to the families receiving treatment from New Traditions.
On December 15th and 16th, Projectliners will be renting a U-Haul and driving around the Seattle area to pick up large used items for donation. If you would like to sponsor an individual, a family, or donate used items to New Traditions, please contact gregk@projectlineinc.com.
Projectline, in true holiday spirit, has committed to matching all donations.
