Jason Abner

Jason brings more than six years of experience in retail product marketing to Projectline. In his most recent role, Jason worked as a Senior Marketing Specialist where he coordinated the planning and execution of projects and integrated marketing campaigns for one of the country’s largest financial institutions. Prior to this role, Jason managed online projects as a Marketing Specialist for the company’s eMarketing Team. He believes communication is the key in delivering superior client services and fostering great relationships. It's not all work: Jason loves spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys traveling and playing basketball.

Molly Dee Anderson

Molly comes to Projectline with more than 17 years of experience as a writer, editor, and communications specialist. Her career began in magazine journalism, where she was mentored by a distinguished lineage in a tradition of meaning and excellence. The Society of Professional Journalism honored her with awards for her freelance pieces. Since then, Molly has written hundreds of first-generation technical documents and corporate collateral for a variety of clients, including stealth startups and established technology companies. She has more than 10 years of expertise in mobile and telephony, device technologies, digital media, network operations, and enterprise solutions. It’s not all work: Molly has been practicing yoga for more than a decade. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Evan Archilla

A seven year veteran of Microsoft Corporation, Evan earned his reputation as a trusted technology advisor through the development of end user programs and activities for Microsoft's Home & Retail Division, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and the Microsoft Office system. Evan was responsible for the planning and execution of nationwide launch events for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and the 2003 Microsoft Office system, and was the driving force behind the creation of the Windows XP Expert Zone, Microsoft's first official end user community. An accomplished public speaker, Evan develops and delivers webcast and on-site 'tips and tricks' presentations on the Microsoft Office system. He is the author of a Microsoft Communication and Collaboration whitepaper, a 2007 Microsoft Office System 'First Look' training clinic, Microsoft Learning customer skills assessments, and other recent Microsoft Office system customer-facing deliverables. Evan is also the coauthor of So That's How! Timesavers, Breakthroughs, & Everyday Genius for the 2007 Microsoft® Office System, a new book from Microsoft Press featuring tips and tricks for the 2007 Microsoft Office System. Evan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Baylor University. It's not all work: When he's not acting like he knows something about technology, he enjoys travelling, devouring American history books, and playing cowboy on his 10-acre Texas 'ranch.'

Jennifer Barry

Jennifer is an experienced project manager who brings customer evidence and partner evidence experience to her new position at Projectline. She has worked on marketing initiatives throughout a variety of Microsoft departments and maintains a strong network within the local technology community. Before Jennifer discovered her passion for project management and marketing, she spent time gaining highly beneficial business development experience at the Washington Technology Industry Association and throughout the mortgage industry. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Washington State University, where she focused her studies on Broadcasting and Business Management. It's not all work: In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, reading, working out, and spending time with family and friends. In the summer months, she can be found taking in the sun on her boat in Lake Washington and considering her next trip to a tropical destination.

Amy Baskerville

Prior to joining Projectline as a Senior Marketing Consultant, Amy proved her ability to drive measurable results with the successful management of multimillion-dollar marketing programs for companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, and Nordstrom. Over her 12 years of work experience, she has managed marketing plan strategy, corporate branding, media planning, collateral design, radio and television spot production, and online and offline lead generation campaigns. She also consulted for local technology companies such as T-Mobile, TeleNav, and Wavelink, where she led multiple projects, including developer product launches and beta software adoption programs, and managed large-scale, internal programs. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Seattle University. It’s not all work: In her spare time, Amy enjoys devouring books about Tudor England, foster-parenting animals for the non-profit organization, PAWS, and working towards her black-belt in Karate.

Heather Belliveau

Heather (Fisher) Belliveau has more than 18 years of experience in marketing and management. She specializes in customer reference programs and develops evidence strategy that helps drive clients’ businesses in multiple high-tech product marketing areas. In these efforts, she creates fully integrated marketing plans that detail the strategy and execution of these references through campaigns, product launches, PR, speaking engagements, and advertisements, while maintaining correspondence with internal marketing teams, field sales, and customers. Prior to joining Projectline, Heather managed a number of million-dollar retail marketing loyalty programs. She built several B-to-B relationships with companies like Albertson’s, Starbucks, Toys R Us, Disney, BP/Arco, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Campbell’s, and Procter & Gamble. Heather participated on advisory teams that developed new information technology enhancements to retail point-of-sale and price maintenance systems; she then managed the deployment to over 2,000 retail outlets. Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound. It's not all work: In her spare time, Heather enjoys being with her family, traveling, scuba diving, and going to Broadway musicals. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Heather is married with four daughters.

Norm Bowler

Norm is a database developer who has worked with structured relational data for over 20 years and with Microsoft SQL Server since 1996. During that time, he's worked for companies you've heard of (Expedia, Microsoft, Getty Images) and companies you probably haven't (SeaMed, Cogenix, Who's Calling). Norm has also worked as a Program Manager and Development Manager and has had some Product Management training, so he gets excited about big picture business cases as well as the database details. It's not all work: Norm is an avid reader, and spends the weekends rocking the dance floor with his classic rock cover band Shotgun Wedding. Norm is married with three adult daughters, and is currently helping plan (and pay for) two weddings.

D'Laina Boynton

D’Laina’s diverse background includes account management, business development, managing global logistics, and over 5 years of project management experience. Her recent experience includes roles as a project manager at a software development firm, a stint with Microsoft’s Corporate Market Research and Insights Division, and her latest role as the engagement manager for Microsoft’s Virtual Kellogg On Marketing Program. Her interest and knowledge in social media has helped her lead successful campaigns. It’s not all work: D’Laina’s spare time is spent volunteering, mainly as a coach in a leadership program. She loves to travel the world, and has over 104 cities and 21 countries under her belt.

Erin Brandon

Erin has extensive experience in marketing, client relations, and communications. Prior to coming onboard at Projectline, she ran a local adult-education program, managing both online and direct marketing, as well as staffing, instructor recruitment, and much more. Erin’s strong attention to detail and passion for perfection attracted her to the talented crew at Projectline. She hails from the Midwest where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University. It's not all work: Erin loves reading fiction novels, catching up with friends over dinner and drinks, playing with her French bulldog, Gomez, and watching documentaries that either put her into a frenzy or make her realize how fortunate she is.

Mike Brown

Mike has more than 20 years of experience in technical writing and Web publishing. He was a senior technical writer at Microsoft, where he created printed and online documentation and training materials for Excel, Word, and Multiplan. He also edited and contributed content to the popular Microsoft Press Step by Step series on Excel and Visual Basic. After Microsoft, he moved to Amazon.com, where he provided editorial content for Amazon’s Electronics store, writing and editing reviews, descriptions, buying guides, and promotional messaging. Mike has recently done work for Microsoft, AT&T, Sun, and other IT clients, creating a variety of technical, educational, and marketing content. It's not all work: Mike loves hiking and travel as part of his digital photography hobby: “If I didn’t have a camera, I’d just stay home!” Mount Rainier, Hawaii, and New Zealand are recent favorite destinations and photo subjects.

Eric Burgess

Eric is a grad student at the UW, where he's studying for his Masters of Communication in Digital Media. He’s a Social Media geek and a recovering skateboarder, having spent the last few years blogging and building up communities in the action sports industry. It’s not all work: He and his wife welcomed their first child Oliver into the world last fall which recently prompted him to start a blog for new dads who are into fashion and technology. When he’s not blogging, he can often be found spending time with his family, shopping, and working on house projects.

Danita Cain

Danita has spent the last 15 years developing and driving successful marketing programs for clients such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Microsoft. Her expansive marketing experience includes success as an Account Executive at DDB Needham Advertising, a New Business Director at Fisher Broadcasting, a Network Promotions Director at KidStar, a Retail Marketing Manager at Starbucks, and a Senior Interactive Project Manager at Catalysis, serving exclusively on the Microsoft account. Danita’s wide range of expertise, innovative ideas, and relationship building skills help her design and execute marketing programs that make her clients successful. Danita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Fort Wright College and a Certificate of Advertising from the University of Washington. It's not all work: When she isn’t concentrating on her clients, you’ll find Danita attending Jazzercise®, playing with digital devices, or practicing her e-commerce skills. During her travels with her husband she discovered her favorite Italian line in the village of Vernazza, “In cielo non c’e’ vino beviamolo sulla terra,” meaning, “In heaven there is no wine, so drink up while you are in this town.”

Natalia Campau

Natalia Campau has more than seven years’ experience offering editorial and marketing support in the software and high-tech consulting industry. Her current focus is editing and reviewing global case studies for the Microsoft Customer Evidence Team. In addition, she writes and edits for client and internal newsletters. Prior to coming to Projectline, Natalia was the head writer and coordinator for several product newsletters. She helped launch a new community-inspired newsletter that featured interviews with clients such as Sony PlayStation Europe and The Discovery Channel. At the University of Washington, Natalia wrote for the student newspaper and studied journalism until she discovered her passion for all things Spanish. A graduate of the U.W.'s Spanish & Portuguese department, Natalia joined Projectline after completing her studies on the southern coast of Spain. It's not all work: Natalia is a dreamer; she loves fantasizing about her next trip abroad, her soon-to-be perfected slam dunk, and her fairy-tale house in Zahara de los Atunes, Spain.

Harish Chand

Harish specializes in Web analytics and business intelligence for state-of-the-art Web sites. He has had a passion for Web analytics since the early days of the Internet. While in an Economics Ph.D. program at U.C., Berkeley, Harish received a National Science Foundation grant to study online decision making and click-stream tracking. His co-recipient and advisor, Daniel McFadden, later received the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2000. Harish has designed Web analytics systems for numerous rich-media Web sites, specializing in tracking and analysis of state-of-the-art Web sites employing Ajax technologies, user-generated content, and Internet video. Through Best Practices consulting, Harish has helped numerous groups extract greater value out of their Web analytics solutions. He also has a wealth of experience in the software industry, having worked in Semantic Modeling, Natural Language, Search, CRM, and Video and Entertainment--all at Microsoft, before leaving Microsoft in 2007 to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.

Heidi Clark

Heidi has 15 years of high-tech experience within multiple segments—software, hardware, service, and content providers. She has a proven track record with channel sales and market development by using her in-depth knowledge of partnering with Microsoft, Real Networks, Ingram & Tech Data, and the LAR and DMR channels. Heidi's experience is both national and international. In her most recent projects for Microsoft, she has focused on launching emerging technologies into the LAR/DMR/Disti channel. Her responsibilities have spanned marketing, event planning, and readiness training. Previously, she was Senior Director of Channel Marketing and Sales for Real Networks, where she grew the traditional channel from zero dollars to a multi-million-dollar P&L. Also, she was responsible for leading the charge for the company in growing international channel efforts in Europe and spent a year in London opening up a subsidiary office. Heidi and her husband Dan reside in Seattle, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, golf, and tennis.

Sara Colness

Sara is very excited to join the Projectline team as a Service Delivery Manager for the Customer Service Team. She has held a variety of roles at Microsoft as an FTE, contractor, and vendor since 2005. Some of her endeavors include supporting WPC and the Partner Advisory Council (PAC) Program for WW SMS&P. Sara held the helm as the North American Communications Council Program Manager for U.S. Corporate Management, focusing on improving field communications across SMSG. She also worked as the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Manager for the Microsoft America Team (MSAM), managing partner events and increasing awareness of the Microsoft Dynamics product line for the U.S. SMS&P. And she currently manages Partner/PAM communications for WWLP. Through these roles, she has focused on communications, marketing, program development, and business efficiency process improvement. It's not all work: In her free time, Sara enjoys playing on an indoor volleyball league, partaking in any mild adventure she can, and spending time with friends and family.

Danae Colvin

Danaé has extensive event marketing and account management experience in the technology industry. Before joining Projectline, she was an Account Manager at Local Marketers, a start-up marketing firm in Bellevue. She managed key client accounts, implemented new account management training, and wore a variety of hats in order to assist in the company’s growth. Previously, Danaé was an Event Marketing Planner at HouseValues, overseeing the domestic and international agent seminar program. She has a proven track record in developing creative strategies, implementing detailed plans, and executing comprehensive events. Her passion is people and going above and beyond to see client satisfaction exceeded. It's not all work: In her spare time, Danaé loves to shop. She also loves to salsa dance, travel, and spends as much time as possible with those dear to her.

Alex Converse

Alex has more than 15 years of finance and marketing experience. A Projectline member since 2004, he was a Marketing Project Manager until 2009, managing a variety of customer evidence programs, including the Windows Vista and Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 product launches. Since mid-2009, Alex has served as Finance Director for the company. Prior to joining Projectline, Alex was an equity research analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, he managed consumer research projects in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East for Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates. He is a graduate of Yale University and a Chartered Financial Analyst. It’s not all work: Alex lives a happily domesticated suburban life with his wife and two cats in Arbor Heights.

Natalie Cookson

Natalie brings enthusiasm and several years' experience to Projectline. Prior to moving to Seattle, Natalie worked in marketing at a non-profit (Wishing Star Foundation), where she developed promotional materials for fund-raising events and implemented a customer database. Her background includes experience in sales, legal, and administrative roles. She received degrees at Portland State University in Marketing and Advertising Management. It’s not all work: Natalie enjoys painting, watching sports, and playing card games and has recently started mountain biking. She is also actively involved in advertising competitions throughout the year (she was awarded 2nd place in the Heineken USA national advertising competition sponsored by Effie.org in May 2010).

Kevin Crowe

Kevin has over three years of business and accounting experience in a variety of fields from marketing to design. He has worked with over 26 companies in the forming and implementing of new bookkeeping and monetary tracking systems. A former English as a Foreign Language instructor and writer in South Korea, Kevin was able to glean tremendous insights into the behavior and diversity of a truly dynamic international business community. As the lead music editor for Asiana Airline’s OZ Entertainment over the past year, Kevin has been able to marry his love for all things musical and his talent for writing. It's not all work: In addition to scouring the books and chasing down receipts, Kevin enjoys riding his Vespa, charcuterie, listening to and playing music, and traveling the world.

Petra Damm

Petra has more than six years of experience in marketing, business development, and event management. Prior to joining the Projectline team, she developed and managed a range of partner programs, partner marketing strategies, and marketing communications for the Microsoft Virtualization Team. Previously, Petra demonstrated her business development and project management skills by leading the expansion efforts of a European ecommerce company into the U.S. market. Petra holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Global Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg, Germany. It's not all work: In her free time, Petra enjoys to cook, entertain friends, and practice yoga. Born in Germany, Petra also loves to travel and explore new countries, cultures, and ethnic food. Ask her about the time she spent in Asia and you might hear unique stories about hiking with native hill tribes in Malaysia or cooking for a wedding celebration in India.

Catherine Dix

Catherine brings four years of experience in marketing, business development, and client relations to the Campaign Desk at Projectline. Previously, she headed marketing efforts at a local sales recruiting firm, managing and executing direct and partner marketing initiatives for clients from small SaaS start-ups to Fortune 1000 giants in health care, IT, aerospace, and finance. Midwest born and raised, Catherine graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with dual BAs in Mass Communication (with an emphasis in Advertising) and English Literature. It’s not all work: Catherine fills her free time with house remodeling projects, Pilates, wine tastings, yoga, and championship-grade flag football with her team, the Wild Wacky Wailing Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube People (WWWIFATP for short). When she and her husband aren’t wielding a crowbar or football, you’ll find them out exploring the Pacific Northwest.

David Dorrian

David Dorrian has three years of experience in market research and more than four years of experience in financial research. Prior to joining Projectline, David was a research analyst for a full-service research agency in the United Kingdom. He was involved in projects for global clients across a variety of sectors, engaging in work that included writing thought-leadership pieces and assessing business propositions. He also gained experience within arts project management and marketing, working as a producer and associate producer with various theatre companies. David studied at the University of Cambridge, where he was Vice-President of the May Ball 2000 Committee and President of the Genial Society. It's not all work: David is a theatre-geek: director, actor, producer, and frequent audience member. He also finds time to play tennis and volleyball, wish he was playing soccer, and shout at the television while watching his English Premier League team—the glorious Arsenal FC.

Rachael Engell

Rachael offers clients several years’ experience in customer service, sales, and management. Before joining Projectline, she was an Assistant Manager at Nordstrom, where she assisted in executing target sales goals, developing sales teams, and building critical customer relationships. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Rachael enjoys painting, reading, and spending time outdoors. She can also frequently be found scouring recipes for her next cooking idea or planning her next travel adventure.

Robyn Fisher

Robyn has more than 13 years of experience with executive communications, strategic planning, consumer marketing, messaging and brand, content planning and creation, and online programs. For the past 6 years, she’s managed a wide array of projects for Microsoft involving new innovations for emerging markets, consumer strategy, mobile computing, go-to-market campaigns, a college campus rep program, a national server training program, and, of course, customer evidence. She helped launch the Xbox 360, the Windows Mobile MSFP, Windows Server 2003, multiple packs for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and a Microsoft.com Web site geared toward business solutions. Prior to her work with Projectline and Microsoft, Robyn served as marketing manager for an online financial services firm, a mobile phone software company, and a civil engineering firm. It's not all work: Originally from New Jersey, Robyn graduated with an English degree from Rutgers University. Her greatest passion, besides cooking, is traveling the world. She loves the freedom that working with Projectline gives her, and is known to take months at a time to lollygag around the Plaza Major in Spain or in remote villages (and beaches!) in Asia.

Kim Flanery-Rye

Kim comes to Projectline with more than 5 years' communication and training experience in the telecom industry and over 3 years of business and organizational startup experiences. Before Projectline, Kim provided leadership coaching and guidance to help T-Mobile executives with communication strategy and execution, as well as leading national compensation and commissions training development and deployment. Kim’s entrepreneurial spirit brought to life a retail boutique and gallery called Bouncing Wall, which received numerous awards for the “best of…” in Seattle and the Pacific NW. It’s not all work: “Mama Kim,” as her friends call her, enjoys spending time with her son and husband and hosting game nights. Other times, you might find Kim at a poker tournament, trying to earn her way into the World Series of Poker.

Matt Flynn

Matt comes to Projectline with extensive experience working for technology companies in Silicon Valley. Matt has worked across different project teams to execute strategic and tactical outreach initiatives for clients such as NETGEAR, BT, Aruba Networks, and others—comprising editorial and broadcast opportunities, speaking and thought leadership opportunities, company and executive awards, product launches and event planning, analyst relations, market messaging, and customer and partner engagement. He is passionate about fostering lasting relationships with clients and working creatively to achieve quantifiable goals. Matt holds a BA in History from the University of Washington and wishes HBO would keep producting shows as good as ROME and Band of Brothers. It's not all work: Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and obstinate Shiba Inu. Back in the Seattle area after years in the heart of Silicon Valley, Matt and his wife love to travel, cook, taste new wines and sample Seattle’s restaurants, watch movies, and enjoy downtime with friends and family. As a lifelong soccer enthusiast, Matt is glued to Fox Soccer Channel every Saturday morning, getting his fix. He loves writing and is an avid reader, usually trying to manage several books at once.

Meagan Fraser

Meagan is a graduate of the University of Washington where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Over the past four years, she has gained marketing experience through positions and internships in a variety of industries, including web development, nonprofit, and commercial real estate. She has developed and implemented viral marketing plans, assisted in search engine marketing campaigns through meta-tag work and analytical research, and increased brand awareness and identity through different forms of online and direct marketing. It’s not all work: Although Meagan grew up in Portland and comes from a long line of Duck fans, she's an avid Husky fan. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, skiing, running, and watching her favorite TV show, The Office. She loves traveling and has recently visited many cities in five countries throughout Europe including Rome, Italy, where she studied abroad for three months. Some of her short term goals include learning how to cook, buying her own car, and competing on the game show, “Wipeout.”

Chauncy Freels

Chauncy brings much enthusiasm to her role as Marketing Coordinator for Projectline’s Campaign Desk. Prior to joining the Projectline team, Chauncy worked for a market research firm in the Bellevue area where she gained valuable insight and marketing experience. Chauncy recently graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. It’s not all work: Having just moved from Eastern Washington to the “Big City,” Chauncy loves to explore the sites of the Seattle area. She also enjoys being outdoors and engaging in any sporting activity, including volleyball, basketball, boating, and the occasional rattlesnake hunt back in her hometown of Brewster, Washington.

Evette Gee

Evette Gee has over 15 years of CPG, technology product marketing, business development, diversity programming, and recruiting experience. Most recently she led various high-performance product marketing and business teams for the Microsoft MBA recruiting program, the MSN Entertainment Music Portal, and the Encarta Reference and Desktop Application programs. Prior to her 9 years at Microsoft Corporation, she was the Brand Manager of Licensing and Promotions at Walt Disney Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. She focused on building the 'Disney Babies' and 'Lion King' film properties with high-profile synergy partners, such as McDonald's, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Kodak, and Coca-Cola. Gee holds an International Relations and Economics degree from the University of California, San Diego, and recently completed a round-the-world surf and adventure tour to 23 countries. She was able to utilize her project management, business analysis, and long-term planning skills for this eye-opening experience.

Emily Gibson

Emily is a Seattle-native with 12 years of professional marketing experience, almost 11 of which are with Microsoft. As a contractor, vendor, employee, and most recently, a consultant at Microsoft, she has worked on several product launches, customer evidence programs, Web sites, and marketing campaign engagements throughout the organization. Emily has a BA in both Communications and French from Washington State University, and an MBA with a focus on International Marketing from Seattle University. It's not all work: Emily lives with her two kids and her kitten in Lynnwood. She loves gardening, hanging out with friends, hiking, dancing, writing, watching foreign films, and playing with kids.

Bryan Hammond

Bryan has been working with the Microsoft DBMS group for just over two years. He is currently focusing on a variety of reporting and analytical projects for the US Partner Group. Previously, he worked for a startup called WatchMark, which was renamed to Vallent and is now part of IBM. He spent the better part of six years traveling around the world setting up UNIX servers, installing Oracle, and installing and configuring the company's Network Management tool for wireless networks. He also worked at AirTouch Communications, now Verizon Wireless, as an Application Engineer and a Fraud Specialist. It's not all work: Bryan admits that he has a hardcore golf addiction. He’s also an avid fly fisherman and enjoys tying files and building rods. Most of his free time, however, is spent with his wife Angie and their son Luke.

Erica Hansen

Erica Hansen has an extensive background in marketing communication and enterprise customer reference program management. She has been with Projectline since 2005 and specializes in customer reference program development, case study management, and lead generation. Her expertise lies in new customer enrollment, managing customer relationships, and raising the profile of customer evidence for technology firms. Prior to joining Projectline Services, she was marketing manager for a medical manufacturing company where she created and coordinated a range of marketing collateral, managed worldwide vendor relations, and developed successful customer satisfaction strategies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Western Washington University. It's not all work: Erica enjoys backpacking, traveling, and snowboarding. She has been to almost all of the National Parks west of the Mississippi and has been a proud sponsor of the National Park Foundation for the last 5 years.

David Hawke

With more than 15 years of information technology experience in development, architecture, and project management, David brings to Projectline exceptional analytical and consulting practice skills. David has spent a considerable amount of his professional career focusing on Microsoft-based business intelligence technologies. He enjoys all aspects of technology and considers himself a technophile at his core. It's not all work: David and his wife live in Gig Harbor where they enjoy fishing and the occasional paintball tournament.

Ben Hawken

During his career, Ben has crafted creative programs, messaging, and strategy for telecom companies like Sprint-Nextel, consumer electronics giants like Samsung, as well as the NFL, retail chains, political campaigns, modeling agencies, and an array of Internet start-ups. Ben’s experience working with print, broadcast, and online media gives him the perspective to plan, create, and execute campaigns with a mass audience in mind. He specializes in targeting key markets and concisely communicating even the most sophisticated concepts in simple, creative, insightful ways. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and a master’s degree from Syracuse University. It's not all work: Well, actually, it is. But when Ben isn’t making magic for Projectline clients, he’s boring friends and family with stories about the Revolutionary period of American history, writing unintentionally sardonic poetry, and fretting about the Seattle Mariners.

Michelle Heimerl

Michelle has over seven years of marketing experience in the entertainment technology sector. Before joining Projectline, Michelle worked in Merchandising at Nintendo, where she assisted with the execution of key marketing strategies at over 12,000 retail locations across the United States, and acted as a liaison between Nintendo corporate, the field teams, and retail stores. In addition to managing a number of projects, she also enjoyed planning events and meetings, especially relishing any possibility to evangelize product through educational opportunities and hands-on demonstrations. Prior to Nintendo, Michelle worked as a Park Ranger in a number of Alaskan parks and forests, enjoying every day as a chance to promote her beautiful home state. It's not all work: In her spare time, Michelle loves to knit, sew, design, and package crafty projects. She enjoys traveling but is most often found at home working on never-ending home improvement plans with her Schipperke pups, Loki and Lola.

Kathy Hickman

Kathy has more than 10 years of technology marketing experience working at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington; Sydney, Australia; and London, England. She has worked on a number of product teams at Microsoft, including MSN, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Press, and Office OneNote, targeted at both consumer/retail and business audiences. Kathy specializes in working on customer evidence programs and managing marketing collateral, including white papers, top 10s, FAQs, sales tools, product guides, Web sites, press releases, advertisements, direct mail pieces, packaging, promotions, branding, positioning and messaging, SWOT, and competitive analysis. A native Seattleite, Kathy received a BA from the University of Washington in Liberal Arts and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. It’s not all work: In her spare time, Kathy can be found racing sailboats competitively on Puget Sound or playing on her small classic wooden speed boat from the 1950s. In addition, Kathy speaks fluent German, loves to travel to exotic locations, and is a private pilot.

Leisl Hill

Leisl has over 14 years of Human Resources experience in companies ranging from start-ups to multi-national corporations and has played a significant role in helping companies and employees meet their performance objectives. Leisl is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has served on several HR organization boards including one of the largest local SHRM chapters in the Northwest. It's not all work: She enjoys all travel but has a preference for warm, tropical destinations. She loves football but acknowledges she can be a bit too competitive with her fantasy football league. When the weather is nice she and her husband enjoy doing local hikes.

Valerie Hitch

Valerie is an experienced event planner. Before joining Projectline, she impressed clients at Microsoft with her company knowledge and planning skills. Combining her communication and event planning background, she worked as the Delivery Operations Coordinator for the MDAS Sales Training Team. Valerie graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations. While completing her studies, she worked with the University’s television station to tutor local elementary school students, and she assisted the public relations desk at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma. It's not all work: In her free time, Valerie enjoys camping, taking photos, reading, playing games, and visiting family. She has recently become an avid hiker on the weekends.

Brian Hobzek

Brian brings 14 years of business development, sales, and technical recruiting experience to the Projectline Business Intelligence team. He is passionate about combining technology and process to solve business problems. Brian has helped build new practice areas for portals and collaboration, developed strategic partnerships, and recently sold custom e-learning and technical solutions to the utilities vertical. He has worked primarily with the Microsoft technology stack and sold professional services engagements around relationship and product marketing as well as content management solutions. It’s not all work: Brian enjoys spending time with his family and watching his sons who are active in basketball and dance. His other interests include donating time to volunteer activities, hiking, wakeboarding, skiing, traveling, listening to music, and drinking microbrews.

Damian Hoffman

Damian has over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development, and now lives in London where he leads Projectline's UK operations. Damian has deep expertise incorporating customer and partner content into marketing efforts, developing and managing relationships at the executive level, and ensuring messaging alignment through ads, PR, case studies, videos, industry analyst panels, and events. Prior to joining Projectline, Damian worked for Microsoft on the Platform Strategy Team, promoting the Windows platform as part of a global ad campaign. He also has experience working in the financial services sector, both in commercial banking and as an investment advisor. Damian holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whitman College. It's not all work: Damian and his family are thoroughly enjoying the adventure of living in London and exploring their new home. He enjoys collecting wine and reading books about military history, and absolutely loves his daughter's burgeoning British accent.

Katie Hoffman

Katie is an experienced marketer in the technology industry. Before joining Projectline, she supported various marketing campaigns and helped develop marketing strategies. Katie also brings over seven years of sales experience. Katie graduated cum laude from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Marketing Management. It’s not all work: Katie is an avid Seahawks fan; she attends every home game. She also enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and playing volleyball with numerous competitive teams. Most importantly, Katie loves spending time with her family and friends.

Nate Hoffman

Nate brings to Projectline experience in client services and marketing. Most recently, he focused on business development and marketing in the financial industry, working as an account executive for a top-ten mortgage company. Previously, Nate was a recruiter for a firm specializing in the placement of civil engineering candidates. His interest in technology and dedication to delivering high-level customer service helps Nate build strong relationships with clients. Nate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Whitman College. It's not all work: Recently married, Nate enjoys hiking, running, and taking part in other outdoor activities (when his wife can tear him away from watching the Seahawks, the Mariners, or ESPN’s SportsCenter). He also loves to read and spend time with family and friends.

Erin Hofmann

Erin has more than 15 years of marketing experience with a background in developing and managing B2B campaigns that take leads through the sales pipeline. She has expertise in the creation, production, and execution of demand generation campaigns, including email, live meetings and webinars, customer events, workshops, and pipeline closure events that influence millions in revenue. Erin meticulously analyzes the target audience, messaging, geographic region, and type of tactic that should be leveraged for each campaign. She has served as a primary marketing liaison to field sales teams for all aspects of lead generation and opportunity development. It’s not all work: Weekends are all family! Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. In addition, she enjoys traveling, exercise, hitting the Seattle-area sites, and spending time with friends.

Allison Hollinger

Ally brings several years of experience in marketing and administrative support to the Projectline Campaign Desk. She spent several years working in the architecture and engineering industry and has also worked as a Sales Assistant for Comcast Spotlight. Ally is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. It’s not all work: Ally returns to Seattle after spending the past few years living in exciting destinations, such as Corpus Christi, Texas; Pensacola, Florida; and Norfolk, Virginia. Ally enjoys watching Will Ferrell movies and experiencing the great outdoors. She also loves photography, a good book, mountain biking, paintball, hiking, and camping. Ally just ran her first half marathon, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach, and plans to train for the upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle.

Jan Hood

Jan L. Hood has been editing copy for 15 years, first in Microsoft Corporate Communications and currently through her freelance business. She relies on sound skills backed by broad experience: Web sites, case studies, proposals, marketing collateral. Her specialty is organizing and fine-tuning content so that it is 100-percent clear and correct. Other editing experience includes an internationally recognized chamber music festival, hospital communications, medical technology, a nonprofit conservation organization, and human resources. It's not all work: Jan skis in the winter and hikes in the summer, and has lasted 10 seconds in a log-rolling contest. On quieter days, she loves to read while sipping a good cup of tea.

Joe Huber

Joe Huber has 18 years of program management, sales, and marketing experience in the software and online services industries. Over the past six years, Joe has helped drive technical partner enablement and business value evidence programs for Microsoft on a global basis. Joe’s experience covers the entire gamut of the software industry, including developer, manufacturer, systems integrator, value-added reseller, and online service provider. He brings a commitment to excellence and a passion for technology. His demonstrated success in results-driven sales and program-oriented roles has led him to join Projectline. It's not all work: Joe takes the work to live approach to life. His greatest pleasure is spending time with his two children and beautiful wife. Rounding out his avocations are sailing, eating great food, listening to music, traveling to fun places, reading books, and attending a well-played soccer match. Joe has lived in a variety of places: Atlanta, Georgia; Lyon, France; Phoenix, Arizona; Fairfield, Connecticut; and Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. But he feels there’s no better place to be than Seattle.

Samantha Hufford

After working in the technology, government, and property management industries, Samantha has gained practical experience in public relations and marketing. She was an intern at Edelman, a global public relations firm, working on the Microsoft Entertainment & Devices team where she assisted in the launch of three new game titles for Xbox. Prior to that, Samantha served as an Assistant to US Ambassador Robert Holmes Tuttle in Embassy London, where her main responsibility was to conduct research and provide analyses for speeches given by the Ambassador, US Congressional Delegates, and other Embassy principals. Samantha was also Sales Manager, overseeing all revenue at the Seattle Street of Dreams. In November 2009, Samantha completed her Master’s degree with honors in Marketing from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Public Relations and Broadcasting, from Washington State University. It’s not all work: As a Seattle native, Samantha enjoys an active lifestyle and sports of all kinds. She is passionate about soccer and is confident that it will always be in her life—be it as a player, coach, or fan. She likes to play golf and kick-box, and she is currently training for her first half-marathon. She has an itch for travel and loves to read, write, and explore London in her quiet times.

Renee Hunter

Renee joins the TAP team with more than eight years of experience in the technology sector. She has worked with local technology companies, such as Microsoft and Real Networks, and joins Projectline with a background in project management, client services, and research. A true product of the Northwest, she grew up about an hour south of Seattle and earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master's degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Washington. It's not all work: When Renee isn't taking a class that catches her fancy, she enjoys spending her time browsing in bookstores and trying her hand at anything remotely crafty.

Michelle Jacobs

Michelle has over eight years of customer service experience in a variety of fields, ranging from retail and hospitality to education and financial services. She interned at the Everett Chamber of Commerce and successfully redefined its marketing department through research and rigorous problem solving. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Washington State University and an MBA from Arizona State University. It's not all work: Michelle enjoys going to Mariners games, watching TV on DVD, and traveling whenever possible. She especially enjoys exploring the Puget Sound region in the summer.

Kim Johnson

Kim Johnson has strong experience in project management and marketing communications in the high-tech, higher-education, and nonprofit segments. Prior to joining Projectline, Kim managed internal and external communications for the OEM division of Microsoft. Kim helped drive a robust communications process via e-mail-based newsletters and three Web sites. In addition to her experience in corporate communications, Kim has managed a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program, researched education policy for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and has worked as a grant writer. Kim holds a Master’s degree in Technical Communication from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. It's not all work: In her spare time, Kim loves horseback riding and hopes to one day buy her own horse and compete. In addition, Kim enjoys good food, creative writing, and everything related to martial arts.

David Jones

David Jones has fourteen years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. Before becoming a partner in Projectline, he worked as a Product Manager at Microsoft and a Marketing Director at Laptop Lane, Ltd. He has spent the majority of the last seven years driving technology adoption with customers across the US and around the world. Prior to that David lived in Canada and spent several years in management positions in the cable industry where he brought to market the (then) new offerings of digital television and broadband internet. Demonstrated by his successes managing marketing programs in different industries, David brings with him a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies. It's not all work: David also enjoys cycling and will be riding from Seattle to Vancouver, BC for the third consecutive year this summer. And being Canadian he loves playing and watching hockey.

Jennifer Jurcik

Jennifer Jurcik is an alumna of Tufts University and the Stanford Publishing Course, and a veteran of Microsoft's Corporate Communications department, where she was an editor for six years before heading out on her own. Since then, she has worked with many Northwest companies and agencies, among them Microsoft, Landor, Nordstrom, and SpaceLabs Healthcare, to edit marketing and business collateral ranging from product packaging and trade-show displays to Web sites and annual reports. She has also written copy for fashion catalogs and travel reviews for Northwest Best Places. It's not all work: Jennifer, who once thought nothing of living out of a VW bus or backpacking through Asia on an open ticket, is currently experiencing the different thrill of raising teenagers (one teen, one tween). She still loves hiking, camping, and spicy food; supports the University District Teen Feed program and Tent City; and is a card-carrying member of the National Mah Jongg League.

Heather Kenyon

Heather brings 19 years of front-line sales experience with a solid know-how in customer service. Prior to joining Projectline, Heather was well respected in the optometric community. From managing established private practices and high-end boutiques to launching successful startups, her reputation for dedication and customer relations was recognized throughout the industry. Heather has a passion for technology and approaches a challenge with steadfast determination. It's not all work: Heather enjoys cooking, traveling, and camping, and she loves a great rock show. A former New Yorker, Heather and her fiancé spend their free time exploring the wonders of the Pacific Northwest.

Mike Kichline

Mike Kichline has twelve years of marketing and management experience in the technology industry, including managing successful Rapid Adoption Programs for Microsoft. Before founding Projectline, he worked with several well-known companies including Wall Data, MetaInfo, Inc., Checkpoint Software, Vadium Technologies, Inc., and Avenue A. With proven expertise in partner channel marketing management, Mike has developed and executed national partner strategies and has been responsible for global training and distribution of technology products through the partner infrastructure. Mike has managed account teams responsible for developing and executing online marketing strategies for companies such as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Family Wonder, and others. In addition, he created business development strategies for companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Mazda, and Goodyear.

Jill Klepach

With an extensive background in marketing and public relations, Jill Klepach is passionate about customer advocacy and working with technology clients. Prior to coming onboard with Projectline, Jill managed the customer success program for an online company, where she generated case studies that were actively used in acquiring new customers and educating the existing customer base. She played a key role in aligning the case studies into the appropriate marketing channels and managed the placement of written, audio, and video content on Web and blog sites. In addition, Jill has experience managing various marketing campaigns, events, promotions, and marketing collateral pieces. Jill has a proven track record of developing and implementing public relations strategy and media plans, along with establishing relationships with the media. She holds a BA in Public Relations from Central Washington University. It's not all work: In her spare time, Jill surrounds herself with friends and family. She also loves to travel, dance, attend Seahawks and Mariners games, walk around Green Lake, and take in all the Emerald City has to offer.

Greg Kriegler

Greg joins Projectline with six years experience in marketing, sales, strategy, and business development, with a focus on entrepreneurship and early-stage growth organizations. Previously, he was the Sales Director for a software startup, MOD Systems, where his responsibilities ranged from customer acquisition to content acquisition. Prior to joining MOD, he founded CineVend, a DVD Vending company, and launched a prototype for a CD/DVD vending machine in partnership with Landmark Theatres. The company later migrated to the sales and operations of DVD rental vending machines. Greg moved to Seattle from Saint Louis in 2004, where he managed a four-state territory of Home Depot Stores for GAFMC. He also coached baseball at his alma mater, Washington University in St. Louis. Greg has worked on a variety of media and technology projects with Best Buy, Hallmark, Blockbuster Video, Accenture, Paramount Studios, and other leaders in retail and entertainment. It's not all work: Greg lives in Fremont with his wife, Lauren, and dog, Duke. They (Lauren and Greg, not Lauren and Duke) enjoy sampling the cuisine at Seattle’s latest and greatest restaurants. Greg travels frequently, loves golf, runs the occasional half marathon, and continues to play baseball every summer.

Sona Kumar

Sona has extensive marketing and project management experience with well-known firms, including Honeywell, Cushman & Wakefield, WallData, and Microsoft. She is very experienced in working with agencies and vendors, partners and customers, cross-divisional teams, and senior executives. Since 2003, Sona has been managing Enterprise Field Readiness/EPG engagement and Enterprise Mobile Messaging projects for the Windows Mobile Embedded Devices group, where she has been responsible for driving, planning, managing, and cross-group coordination. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. It's not all work: Sona studies Indian classical vocal music, loves spending time with her three boys and dog, Simba, and relishes activities such as dining, theater, reading, cinema, yoga and world travel.

Rachel Kurland

Rachel Kurland has been providing marketing and event services for more than three years. As a team member at Microsoft, Rachel has built her customer services skills by assisting field members and partners in their event planning. Rachel graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing. It's not all work: In her spare time, Rachel loves to shop, cook, discover new restaurants, and spend time with friends and family.

Renee Kutch

Renee Kutch has more than 18 years of experience as an expert in data management and communications for marketing organizations. Over the past 5 years with Projectline, Renee has developed several SharePoint based business management portals consisting of metrics tracking dashboards, custom search applications, and program management workflow processes. In the 10 years she spent with Microsoft’s Brand group, she led the development of several web sites, an online marketing image data warehouse, branding tools, and training programs. Her experience also includes online product management for MetricsDirect.com and development of an external web presence and internal collaboration portal at a brand consultancy firm. Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois. It's not all work: Renee has been a rower and triathlete—which explains why she’s always the first one to the meeting, no matter the terrain!

Eric Larson

Eric has nearly 20 years of sales and marketing expertise in the technology sector. As a Senior Marketing Consultant, Eric manages customer reference and evidence programs for clients. He is also responsible for business and partner development, as well as Projectline’s new media strategy. Before joining Projectline in 2006, Eric was a product manager at InfoSpace, where he managed the Switchboard.com local search business and helped launch key mobile local search marketing programs. Before InfoSpace, he was a product manager at social network pioneer Classmates.com. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA from Seattle University. It's not all work: Eric spends his free time playing basketball, wakeboarding, and serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club. He has summited Mount Rainier, has visited 26 Major League Baseball stadiums, likes to play pinball at Shorty’s, and carries a Spider Man wallet.

Christina Lee

Christina has true passion for marketing and event management in the hi-tech industry. Her past experience includes work at Resolute, (a Microsoft Gold Partner), where she had the opportunity to manage different areas of B2B marketing including developing lead generation marketing campaigns, increasing company brand recognition and awareness, managing web sites, and coordinating tradeshows and executive events. After a taste of a start-up firm, she worked as a contract consultant Product Manager in the Windows Mobile and Embedded group at Microsoft Corp. In this role she worked closely with the developers, product managers, and the marketing team to promote the Windows CE 6.0 product launch, improved programs and offerings, and successfully implement processes and systems for scalability. She joined Projectline as a Marketing Manager where she manages customer events and evidence programs, develops marketing plans, produces marketing materials, and manages other marketing projects and programs for clients. It’s not all work: Her hobbies include Bikram hot yoga, running, karaoke, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s originally from New York and loves the city so tries to go back to visit every chance she can.

Anika Lehde

Before joining Projectline as a principal, Anika Lehde worked in marketing in the technology sector for 10 years and has developed relationships with notable corporations such as Microsoft, BP, Merck, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hewlett-Packard, and Palm Computing. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Seattle University, Anika worked in several senior marketing manager and consultant roles for Microsoft where she was responsible for managing the creation of customer evidence for various industries and events. She also consulted for Boeing where she led database design and content development projects, including managing the production of multiple database-driven Web sites and CDs as the Senior Media Project Manager. Anika has considerable experience successfully engaging hundreds of customers and technology partners in marketing activities and managing large-scale customer evidence programs across the enterprise. It’s not all work: In her spare time Anika obsesses over Dolly Parton, brews beer in her guest bathroom, and reads entirely too much about queenship in sixth century England. She’s also been to every continent except Antarctica, (but has yet to make it to Chicago) and shows her commitment to compassion by living vegan since she was 19.

Elliott Lemenager

Elliott is addicted to social technology and new media. He jumped into social technology when he was finishing his MBA and MSL at Grand Canyon University. He realized the potential in social technology while studying virtual leadership, innovation, and group dynamics—seeing that these new technologies are fostering the human element on the Web. Since then, he has gained experience in the industry as a social marketing strategist for a wide range of content. Most recently, he spent time in Honduras working with the people, helping in children’s homes and feeding kitchens, and teaching new self-sustaining practices. During his trip, Elliott funneled all of the interaction through social networking platforms to bring awareness to the general public about the harsh realities that the people face there. It's not all work: Elliott loves to experiment and try new things, which has lead him to start his own social networks, podcasts, blogs, and video and audio productions. Most of these experiements in social technology and new media stem from his love of music, backpacking, rock climbing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, running, triathalons, and family and friends.

Gina Lim

Gina is a strategic partner to her Projectline clients. In addition to her unparalleled work ethic, she has a proven ability to cultivate strong client relationships and a passion for helping clients achieve their business goals. Previously, Gina honed her project management and strategic communications competencies at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. She worked on Waggener’s Microsoft account for a variety of teams, including the Platform Strategy Group, the Intellectual Property Group, and the Competitive Strategy effort. As part of her efforts, she helped clients coordinate activities through regular engagements with top business media, and she drove successful events in the information technology arena. It's not all work: Gina is always pushing her limits by jumping out of an airplane to face her fear of heights or expanding her horizons by traveling to faraway places like Thailand and Tanzania.

Ann Litton

With more than 10 years of product marketing and marketing communications experience, Litton has been responsible for positioning, brand development, and product and marketing communication strategies for a variety of software tools and technologies. As a director of marketing communications with NGRAIN Corporation, Litton's focus was to utilize dynamic internet marketing, online lead/demand generation techniques and customer evidence sales tools to promote software solutions. While at Microsoft Corporation, Litton honed her product manager skills by developing partner co-funded events, campaigns and marketing collateral: including video and case studies production. Litton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Communications and Marketing, from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Ann lives in Seattle and enjoys spending time with her family. When they're not remodeling their house, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, and sailing.

Megan Lynch

Megan Lynch has been with Projectline since January 2007 managing the People-Ready Business and Microsoft Technology Center customer evidence programs. Megan has many years of marketing and communications experience, including over five years working at Microsoft Corporation. Most recently, she worked as a marketing manager with responsibility for developing customer success stories and evangelizing these successes to sales, marketing, and public relations teams. Megan won the Microsoft Customer and Partner Experience (CPE) Hero Award for creating joint partner programs with Dell, HP, and Intel. She also created internal and partner marketing materials for the launch of Windows XP. Prior to her experience at Microsoft, Megan created marketing communications for user groups of IBM and Computer Associates technologies, as well as managed scheduling and logistics for their bi-annual conferences. Megan holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and an Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Megan and her husband recently lived in London for a year and visited 14 countries. Megan is learning to speak Italian, cheers on the Chicago Cubs, and is an aspiring cook.

Julia MacCracken

Julia’s unique background includes experience in customer relations, event planning, and fundraising in the non-profit sector. Most recently, she worked in the Development department of a local homeless-services organization, where she was responsible for soliciting in-kind and monetary gifts, maintaining donor relationships, designing fundraising appeals and collateral materials, and planning and orchestrating special events. Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Julia enjoys spending time outdoors, watching a bit too much TV, and trying to vegan-ize every recipe under the sun.

Carole Magouyrk

With a background in retail management, Carole developed strong client service skills that fueled her passion for understanding the dynamics of consumer decisions and the impact of marketing efforts on their behavior. Forsaking her love of literature and grammar, she studied marketing management, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis. After spending a year in market research as a project manager, Carole decided to pursue marketing, which led to her role as a Campaign Desk Marketing Coordinator for Projectline. It's not all work: A recent transplant to Seattle, Carole enjoys the gorgeous scenery and activities that the Pacific Northwest offers. In her free time, you'll find Carole spending time with her husband and cat. A fan of travelling in Europe, the Caribbean, and New York City, she's usually thinking about a potential vacation. If it's raining, you'll find Carole knitting, reading (usually Vonnegut), painting, or playing around on Xbox LIVE.

Corey Mahoney

A prodigal Seattleite, Corey has spent time on both coasts working in law firms, book sales, tutoring, teaching, and research. Passionate about facilitating communication, she loves helping people do the work they believe in as efficiently as possible. She holds a BA from Seattle University and an MA in English from the University of Connecticut. It's not all work: As a baseball fan, Corey is thrilled to be working just a few steps from Safeco. You can always ask her about books (especially picture books and obscure African literature). Tutoring at 826 Seattle, a writing center for kids, is always a highlight of her week, and she keeps herself sane by daydreaming about all the awesome hiking she'll do come spring.

Pam Man

For more than 10 years, Pam has been managing offices and assisting executives and teams with all duties of daily operations, corporate meetings, events, and travel. Most recently, she managed the office for a communication software company, but she has diverse experience in a variety of industries including entertainment and property management. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. It's not all work: Pam is an oil painter who shows her work in local galleries and in her studio in downtown Seattle. She also writes an art blog, travels to art happenings around the world, and attends about 36 live music shows per year.

Lisa Martineau

Lisa brings to Projectline over seven years’ experience in marketing and advertising fields. She previously worked for a large Northwest homebuilder. She managed and coordinated marketing campaigns, corporate branding, marketing collateral, and event planning. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Western Washington University. During her studies, she wrote for the University newspaper and worked for a full-service advertising agency. It's not all work: Lisa enjoys painting, making handmade scrapbooks, hiking, river rafting, watching movies, mountain biking, and cooking.

Derek Mathis

Derek Mathis has 18 years of experience in project management, process change management, product management, and business development. His diverse background ranges from international shipping to Wall Street trading—and a long stint in the music industry, where he worked in London as European Content Manager to help Universal Music develop digital content management strategies and bring digital products to market. Also, he is very involved in the global development community through advocacy, activism, and volunteering. Derek holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona and a Master of International Management from The Thunderbird School of Global Management. It's not all work: Derek is a general observer of things happening, plays and watches a lot of soccer, travels whenever and wherever he can, and reads way too much for his own good. As a former long-term employee of the music industry, he is also very happy to be in Seattle, one of the world’s most vibrant music cities.

Shane McCartney

Shane has over three years of marketing experience ranging from market research to sales support. Prior to joining Projectline, Shane managed a series of marketing campaigns designed for benefit music concerts in Oregon and Washington. Shane holds a BA in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and an MBA with a focus on Marketing from Seattle University. It’s not all work: Shane loves watching sports, traveling, and taking photos with his new camera.

Brady Millard-Kish

In Brady’s two-and-half years as a Projectline consultant, he has gained a wide variety of customer evidence experience. His projects have included work with small and mid-market businesses to create case studies for Windows Live Small Business, Office Accounting 2008, Windows Home Server, and Open XML. Work in the enterprise space has included stories for Bing Maps, Core Infrastructure Optimization, and System Center. Brady is a great communicator with a natural ability to stay calm under pressure. It’s not all work: Brady has been involved with music in some form or another for the past 20 years. When not working or spending time with his family, he can be found teaching electric and upright bass lessons and performing professionally with various musical projects in and around Seattle.

Helen Miller

Helen Miller has 10 years of editorial, writing, research, and management experience in fields as diverse as technology, social science, and children's literature. Most recently, Helen has worked with the Customer Evidence Team at Microsoft Corporation to review, edit, and approve all global case studies for publishing on Microsoft.com. Previously, she was a researcher for an NIMH–funded study at the University of Washington and a developmental editor for the technology section of an online magazine. She has also worked as a freelance editor for a varied group of clients. She has a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Helen enjoys mountaineering, bicycling, and running half-marathons as well as sleeping in and brunching late. She also studies East Asian tea practices, such as chado and gong-fu cha. And, if you happen to tune in to Arirang TV, you might catch her in an episode of the South Korean reality TV show Living in Korea.

Jessie Morris

Jessie brings customer service, project management, and program coordination skills to clients. Prior to joining Projectline, she was the Project Coordinator for a Seattle print advertisement company, where she collaborated with clients to create brochures and print ads to fulfill business needs. Before moving to Seattle, Jessie oversaw marketing projects for a medical device company in San Diego. Jessie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University. It's not all work: Recently, Jessie fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling across Europe and hopes to return in the future. She is passionate about coaching and playing indoor and beach volleyball, fighting off the travel bug, and spending time with family and friends.

Jan Morrone

Jan has over 15 years of executive-level experience as a senior business manager and consultant in the insurance/risk management and technology industries, with expertise spanning from business operations to sales and marketing. She has a wealth of experience in client services, channel marketing program and project management, call center operations, business process management, quality assurance, and training. Before moving to Seattle five years ago, Jan held senior posts for Assurant Consumer Services (now known as Assurant Solutions), a third-party administrator of specialty risk management solutions, with responsibility for Delivery Services and Legal & Regulatory Compliance. Recently, she served as Vice President of Operational Excellence for a Redmond-based technology channel marketing communications company that provides services to Microsoft, where she managed Program Management and Call Center Operations. Jan received a B.A degree in Government/Policy (Pre-Law) from the University of South Florida. She is an ISO: 9001 Certified Quality Auditor and received her Six Sigma Green Belt through Villanova University. It's not all work: Jan is a wine connoisseur and collector. She is also a classically trained pianist/vocalist; as a member of the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, she once sang before the British Royal Family at Westminster Cathedral and before the Archbishop of Canterbury at Canterbury Cathedral.

Eric Mudge

Eric Mudge has over sixteen years experience in the technology industry. He was with Microsoft Corporation for 13 years, in multiple positions as a Business Development Manager, Systems Engineer Manager, and in Program and Training Management. While at Microsoft he led a team in redesigning the world-wide sales and marketing new hire program. He also designed internal technical sales training for Microsoft’s field sales force. Most recently before coming to Projectline, Eric worked at Avanade Global System Integrator consulting firm, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft, as their Technical and Sales Professional Curriculum Manager. His team designed and implemented collaborative virtual technology trainings to consultants around the world to keep them up to date on the latest technologies and software architecture. It's not all work: Eric is an avid skier, whether it is on snow or on water. He enjoys boating, biking while being outside with his family whenever possible. He has a passion for burning meat outside that he seems to call ‘BarBeQuing’.

Ann Naumann

Ann comes to Projectline with more than 12 years of marketing experience. Most recently, Ann worked as a channel strategist and consultant for hawkeye, where she developed relationships with a number of clients, including Microsoft, BEA, CA, Juniper Networks, and Seagate Technology. Her background includes global program management, project management, account management, and marketing communications strategy and development. A University of Oregon J-School graduate, Ann worked in magazine and book publishing before going high-tech. It's not all work: Ann loves to cook almost as much as she likes to eat. A lapsed novelist and inveterate reader, she and her partner, Alan, live a very dog-friendly existence in North Seattle.

Kevin Ng

A recent graduate from the University of Washington, Kevin is a member of the Projectline Campaign Desk Team. Prior to his role at Projectline, Kevin gained experience in sports marketing. He spent a year with the Seattle SuperSonics and Storm basketball franchises, executing marketing campaigns that successfully improved brand image and awareness. It's not all work: Kevin is an avid golfer who also enjoys R&B music, traveling, and cooking. He is a fan of the PGA Tour, NBA, and (of course) all things Huskies related.

Daniil Nikiforov

Having recently graduated from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona with a degree in Marketing, Daniil has been building his marketing experience from a diverse background of industries. Before joining the Campaign Desk team at Projectline, Daniil worked as an intern for other companies—doing everything from design work, restructuring marketing plans, and creating customer awareness. His most rewarding experiences were working with non-profit organizations in his business school. It’s not all work: After taking a four-year hiatus from the Seattle area to study in Tucson, Daniil is very excited to be back in the Emerald City and experience seasons once again. Daniil loves tennis, soccer, and snowboarding, and although he has developed a passion for the University of Arizona Wildcats, the Huskies still hold a special place in his heart.

Brooke Novak

Brooke has a diverse background that enables her to approach her work with a balanced and creative perspective. Before joining Projectline, she was a Project Manager for a boutique custom home builder. She was responsible for developing budgets, scheduling, billing, and meeting deliverable deadlines for multi-million dollar residence construction. Brooke has 10 plus years of experience in client relationship management, and she greatly enjoys the process of listening to the needs of her clients, helping to identify objectives, and then developing a plan to attain those goals. Brooke’s experience includes event planning, vendor relations, business development, and contract negotiations. Brooke has an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts, focused on Interior & Furniture Design, and she is continuing to diversify her knowledge as she pursues her MBA at Seattle University. It's not all work: In her free time, you may find Brooke hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, camping, reading, or gardening. When time allows, she has been known to sew her own clothes and experiment with new recipes. Above all, she cherishes her time with her fiancée, her crazy mix of interesting and fun friends, and she loves great conversation over a glass of wine.

Jacqui O'Day

Jacqui brings a background in client service, project management, marketing, and communication. She has worked in the marketing and advertising field with local technology companies such as Microsoft and T-Mobile USA. Prior to joining Projectline, Jacqui was a Program Manager at a creative marketing agency, where she managed project components such as research and analysis, project scope and budget, delegation of roles and responsibilities, and deliverable timelines. Jacqui’s experience also includes contract negotiation, business development, and vendor relations. Jacqui was born and raised in the Seattle area and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Washington State University. It's not all work: Jacqui enjoys weekend trips, acrylic painting, following WSU Cougar sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Maureen O'Donnell

Maureen O'Donnell has been editing since 1995. She has worked at Slate magazine and for various Microsoft teams, in addition to serving as managing editor of workz.com. For two years, she was the head global approver for all case studies submitted for publication to www.microsoft.com/casestudies. Currently, she freelances and pursues a fiction writing career.

Stacy Olson

Originally from Northern Idaho, Stacy moved to Portland, OR to complete her degree in Design Management (with concentrations in Marketing and Advertising) at The Art Institute of Portland. In addition to several years in retail sales, she interned at Informal Education Products Inc. as assistant creative director on their 2008 annual catalog. After graduating she worked for ID Branding as an Associate Brand Strategist for a wide range of clients. She’s also done freelance Market Research for Whole Foods on behalf of Wild Alchemy. It's not all work: For fun she loves finding new restaurants and café treasures—she’s a total foodie. She loves being outside camping, hiking, fishing, and road tripping, especially when she can do them all on one trip! She’s obsessed with photography, buying wine for the label, and info-graphics. In her down time she loves to engross herself in a good book or case study.

Ken Opsata

Ken has spent the last 15 years helping companies transform and optimize their business reporting, business processes, and risk management. He's worked with clients like Boeing, Microsoft, Deutsch Telecom, British Telecom, and Oracle, and his experience includes business intelligence strategy and implementation, management reporting and decision support, business process analysis and redesign, vendor and technology selection, and large-scale system design and implementation. Ken has spent the last 3 years developing and implementing business intelligence solutions at Microsoft. It’s not all work: Ken enjoys raising his 7 year old daughter, golfs more than he should, enjoys travel and can occasionally be found in Mexico trolling for that next big fish.

Kris Orlowski

Kris is an experienced marketing consultant in the high-tech industry, having managed the Microsoft Small Business PC Campaign, the US Customer Evidence Awareness Campaign, and ongoing projects with Windows Server Group, Internet Explorer, and Projectline’s New Media Department. Before coming to Projectline, Kris served as a Senior Analyst at the strategic communications firm Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates, working with the Microsoft research division on numerous products and initiatives, including Windows Vista, Value of Genuine, Messenger 9.0, and Windows Live. Kris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Western Washington University. It's not all work: Kris loves music, and spends a lot of time performing and watching live shows in the Northwest.

Shelly Orr

Shelly Orr has more than a dozen years of experience in publishing and marketing in the high-tech industry including marketing program management, customer evidence management, and familiarity with Microsoft sales and marketing campaigns. In addition to managing several different marketing programs, she has experience managing web site design, web content portals, and Internet application development. Shelly also has considerable experience managing vendors for marketing programs and software application development, such as consultants, developers, writers, designers, and editors. Shelly has been a customer evidence consultant since Projectline's founding, working with Microsoft teams such as the Office Client group, Dynamics group, Midmarket group, and US BMO. It's not all work: Shelly spends her free time raising two boys, remodeling her house, and looking for more creative ways to recycle everything.

Pooja Patil

Born and brought up in Bangalore, Pooja started her career with one of the biggest companies in India, Infosys Technologies LTD, as a Software Engineer. After relocating to Redmond, she joined Microsoft as a contracting PM where she learned a lot and turned that experience into a full time job. She later joined Expedia as a Sr. Reporting Analyst and gained great experience which helped her get to where she is today. It's not all work: She likes traveling, and she and her husband have traveled quite a bit in the past three years. Her two favorite beach locations are Hawaii and Puerto Rico. She also likes watching movies, painting, and interior designing.

Karen Piccioli

Karen Piccioli joins Projectline with over 10 years of experience in event management, marketing, and customer service with a focus on corporate sponsor and partner relations. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree and has held positions in New York, Miami, Massachusetts, and the island nation of Barbados. It's not all work: Karen spends most of her free time taking care of her “house of men,” which consists of her husband and two little boys. When not in wife or mommy mode, you can find her shopping, relaxing at a spa, meeting friends for dinner, or planning her next vacation.

Marc Policani

Marc is a local native with over a decade of experience working as a Senior Consultant. Over the years, Marc has established a track record with his clients for developing new lines of business and overseeing multi-program, multi-product, and multi-partner engagements. For his clients, he is a trusted advisor and developer of end-user programs and is known for being a seasoned industry veteran and solid business process engineer. Marc is directly responsible for many of the best practices which guide how high-profile customer and partner enterprise engagements take place today for products like Microsoft System Center, Mobile Device Manager, and PerformancePoint Server. Marc has a reputation for increasing efficiency while developing a strong customer base. It’s not all work: Marc enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and three children, volunteering and serving at Mars Hill Church in Shoreline, and learning about recent developments in cosmology and physics.

Tom Pollock

Tom has been in a variety of marketing roles since 1989 for companies such as White Cap (a food packaging manufacturer), Eddie Bauer, and Microsoft. While working full-time (in the absence of a real life), Tom attended Northwestern University in Illinois, earning a BS degree and an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School. Having come to marketing from several IT roles, Tom brings a technical skill set not often seen in a marketer, making him as comfortable handling the details of data analysis, data mining, and database administration as he is driving marketing strategy and vision. He has been in on the ground floor of three major CRM system rollouts. Tom’s key strengths are bridging the gap between business and technical roles, and using quantitative and qualitative data analyses to drive business strategy and decision-making. It's not all work: Tom has produced several CD projects for local musicians. And as a native Chicagoan, Tom is an avid Cubs fan, but he thinks the Mariners are cool too.

Wayne Preston

Wayne brings over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. Before coming to Projectline, he worked as a Business Analyst for Microsoft after a 5-year run owning and operating LS Consulting, a management consulting firm focused on developing management optimization programs and business/corporate development. Wayne has enjoyed a diverse career and gained valuable experiences through his entrepreneurial ventures, which include inventing, building, and patenting a revolutionary packaging machine, helping in building an e-commerce company from 5 to 200 people, raising investment capital and consulting for a wireless technology company, building and operating a 200-seat 43-employee restaurant/wine bar, and managing a nationwide team of 30 sales executives for a large automated packaging machine company. Wayne is a transplanted Canadian and has been living in Sammamish for the last 11 years with his wife and two teenaged children. It's not all work: Wayne can be found on a ski hill or soccer pitch doing what he loves (coaching or instructing), as he is an accomplished ski instructor and racing coach, plus a premiere-level youth indoor soccer coach. In the true nature of a Canadian, hockey is a great love. Until this year (hip replacement surgery), he played on several local adult hockey teams. Wayne is a life-long Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Sarah Rades Rhodes

Sara has over nine years of marketing, account, and project management experience. Her experience includes five years in Channel Marketing at Nintendo of America. At Nintendo, Sara managed account specific marketing programs that involved advertising and merchandising for major retail accounts such as Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, GameStop, and EB Games. She also worked to develop incremental channel advertising and promotional programs for the launch of new hardware and software products. She went on to further her advertising and marketing background as an Account Manager at JWT Specialized Communications, where she managed the execution of employment marketing and branding campaigns, communication programs, candidate generation strategies, and employment retention programs with clients in health care, retail, automotive sales, and technology software/hardware. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington where she studied Speech Communication. It's not all work: Unable to sit still and addicted to sports, Sara fills her free time by racing bicycles for Team Group Health (USA Cycling Women's Team of the Year for the 2004 & 2005 race season), skate skiing, snowboarding, doing Bikram yoga, hiking, camping, running, kayaking, and surfing! When she and her husband aren't outside on bikes, skis, or boards, you'll find them in the kitchen, experimenting with gourmet recipes.

Julie Ryan

Julie Ryan is a Sr. Marketing Consultant providing guidance, leadership, and training for globally coordinated evidence and reference programs. She has managed an uncountable number of case studies, videos, and other customer engagement projects. Julie brings more than 10 years of experience managing interactive and traditional marketing projects. She comes to Projectline Services from well-known agencies in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington where she managed client relationships and internal teams to develop Web-based projects for clients such as Microsoft Corporation, Tully's Coffee, Converse, Hewlett-Packard, BECU, and Washington Mutual. Julie also spent time as a project lead for Microsoft Windows XP desktop deployment where she managed initiatives to increase the percentage of licensed customers who have deployed Windows XP. Julie graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. It's not all work: Julie also enjoys spending time with her husband, infant son and dog. She takes time to improve her cooking, see live music and run.

John Shields

John comes to Projectline with over eight years experience in Product Management, Business and Functional Analysis, and Technical Writing. Most recently, he worked with Washington Mutual, where he began as a Technical Analyst and transitioned into User Experience and Design Analysis, as well as Product Management. John is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a major in English Literature and a minor in Italian. It's not all work: John enjoys cooking, researching bizarre subjects, and traveling. He also loves listening to music (especially Tom Waits, Radiohead, and the Pixies) and watching bad movies and TV.

Deana Shoffitt

Deana has a diverse skill set that she has acquired from her 15 years of experience in the marketing and high-tech industries. Her most recent project involved managing Microsoft’s Mobility PC hardware partner product coordination for Windows Vista press and PR communication. She also has experience in account management, operations, project planning and delivery, asset management and procurement, sales and marketing, Windows systems imaging, and event coordination and management. Over the past few years, she helped Microsoft grow its Tablet PC presence through the Tablet PC Live Tour. Deana worked closely with the development team to drive internal and external messaging related to the features and benefits of using a Tablet PC. It's not all work: Deana enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, cooking, and staying active through exercise, soccer, and golf. Deana is also active in a local youth outreach program, coaches youth soccer, and volunteers as a “technical” resource for an Adult Assisted Living Center.

Ed Siegrist

Ed Siegrist brings 15 years of experience in the media, business, and technology worlds. For the past six years, Ed has managed marketing technology outreach programs for clients’ customers, partners, and field sales. His role in these programs includes customer evidence and multimedia content development, webcast production, SharePoint portal management, and event management—with events ranging from small executive briefings to international forums. Prior to his work with Microsoft, Ed co-founded a video production company called Stopworks Creative Media and worked behind the scenes of the Seattle International Film Festival. Upon his arrival in Seattle in the mid 90s, Ed labored in the accounting and purchasing departments of AAA Washington, where he led the campaign to overhaul the company’s inventory system to a user-friendly front end based on Microsoft Office. Ed holds a degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he was an integral part of the school’s commercial FM radio station, as both a member of management and the on-air staff. It's not all work: A long-time fan of music, Ed treads a fine line between encouraging his son’s enjoyment of percussion and making sure he keeps the volume down. He is also a devout soccer fan and is counting down the minutes to the 2009 MLS season debut of Sounders FC.

Heidi Sleep

Heidi graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication and minors in Spanish and Journalism. She brings her diverse communications, writing, and project management background to Projectline. Heidi began her career in the localization industry where she was able to apply her education and further develop her experience in cross-cultural communication and global project management. More recently, she managed a global customer evidence program and developed onboarding materials for a team of developers at Microsoft. With a passion for communication and marketing, Heidi is excited to join the Projectline team. It's not all work: In her free time, Heidi enjoys yoga, reading, and cooking and eating new cuisine.

Nicole Starkey

Nicole Starkey has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and product management. For the past 5 years she has been consulting with a variety of Microsoft teams on how to build and successfully execute customer evidence programs. Prior to consulting, Nicole worked as a marketing manager at Microsoft, developing core requirements for the go-to-market (GTM) Bill-of-Materials and creating a portal to communicate GTM strategies companywide to better connect product teams and subsidiaries globally. She also developed evidence to support sales and marketing initiatives and global advertising campaigns. Previously, she was a product manager for Ripcord Systems, a wireless mobile solutions developer, and a training manager for the Open Learning Agency, where she developed corporate technical training programs. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Nicole has a BA in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and speaks Spanish and introductory Korean. It's not all work: Nicole enjoys traveling, squash, and building sand castles with her kids.

Megan Stasiak

Megan is excited to bring her passion for editing and commitment to quality to the Projectline team. She shares valuable experience providing editorial support for clients in the high-tech industry, including several Microsoft product groups. Megan loves collaborating with writers, account managers, and other members of the production team to deliver compelling content that addresses the needs and goals of clients. Before becoming an editor, Megan spent a few years as a proofreader in a design studio and as a volunteer photographer for the Seattle Humane Society. It's not all work: Although she spent much of her life nestled between corn fields and pumpkin farms in the Midwest, Megan feels most at home snowshoeing in the mountains or camping on the coast. On drizzly Seattle days, Megan enjoys reading Neil Gaiman, listening to Port O'Brien, and playing Scrabble with friends at her favorite pub, The Stumbling Monk.

Kim Steffens

Kim brings over seven years of experience as a skilled marketing and technical writer to Projectline, coupled with nearly fifteen years of results-oriented, relationship-driven project, sales, and event management. Kim specializes in writing compelling content for small businesses, governmental agencies, the healthcare industry, and global enterprises. A graduate of Pomona College with degrees in English and Theatre, Kim has put her writing and editing skills to work for executives at Nordstrom, Harrods, and Washington Mutual Bank, as well as for actor-types like Carol Burnett. It's not all work: When she isn’t splitting firewood or experimenting with converting her 1942 home into a sustainable, suburban Walden, Kim can be found engaged in caffeinated conversation over pots of tea at Murchie’s in Victoria and collecting ceremonial frame drums from around the world.

Ray Street

Ray has more than 15 years of marketing experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining Projectline, he managed his own marketing services business. Ray has also held various European roles for Lenovo, including Relationship Marketing Manager. In this role, Ray created and executed retention and communication strategies for the top enterprise customers across Europe. At IBM, Ray managed a team that produced all the marketing and sales enablement deliverables for Europe, including customer reference materials. He also worked with partners, such as Microsoft, Intel, and the Formula 1 team ATT/Williams, to fund and run marketing campaigns. Ray has an in-depth understanding of the commercial and digital print arena having been UK Product Marketing Manager for IBM's printing systems division. Ray holds a postgraduate diploma in Marketing, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom. It's not all work: Ray is interested in most sports and plays cricket (a strange English game) and volleyball during the summer. He is a keen skier and tries to get away for a week each winter. Ray supports Portsmouth FC, an English Premier League soccer club. Being English (have you guessed that yet?), he also enjoys a pint of “real ale” in his local pub. Ray is married to Nicky and has three children.

Eric Synn

A native East Coaster converted to West Coast living, Eric Synn has over 14 years of marketing, project management, and product management experience within multiple segments—software, hardware, telecommunications, and academia. Prior to joining Projectline, he worked for and ran a range of marketing programs for Harvard University, Brooktrout Technology, and Microsoft, most recently managing and developing the internal communications infrastructure for Microsoft’s System Center group. Eric’s experience is both national and international; previous responsibilities include leading international product launches, owning multimillion dollar P&L, and running coast-to-coast marketing campaigns. He holds an MBA from Boston College and a Bachelor's degree from Trinity College. It's not all work: Eric spends his time being a doting father, stellar husband, and civil servant. He sits on two governing boards, the Kirkland Cultural Council and KITH, and contemplates often on how to fit 40 hours of activities into a 24-hour day.

Vishvajit Tandale

Vish brings 12 years of data analysis experience to the Projectline team. He has worked with companies like Weyerhaeuser and Microsoft, contributing as a technical data analyst and providing qualitative and quantitative support. With a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Vish has experience working with various database technologies, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MP2. He is passionate about data analytics and prides himself on providing stable data environments in his role as a solution manager. It's not all work: When Vish isn’t busy “SQL’ing,” he enjoys music; he is a gifted singer and loves to salsa dance. He also enjoys spending time with close friends.

Rachel Taylor

Rachel brings enthusiasm and a passion for marketing to Projectline. She has over five years' experience providing customer service, problem solving skills, and creative solutions to large and small organizations. Before joining Projectline, Rachel was an assistant at Weber Shandwick, an advertising agency in Seattle, where she focused on business processes for Microsoft commercials. Rachel holds an MBA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Western Washington University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management Operations from Washington State University. It's not all work: In her free time, Rachel enjoys wakeboarding, rollerblading, snowboarding, and taking ballroom dance classes. When she needs a break from her sports, she can be found shopping at Ross for shoes or anything that’s pink!

Mele Thomas

Mele brings to clients over 10 years’ experience in project management, business development, human resources, and recruiting. Prior to joining Projectline, Mele was a project manager at Microsoft, where she established and managed all facets of Global Vendor Relations for the Global New Hire Advisor Program in the SMSGR Group. Before joining Microsoft, Mele was a recruiter and Release Program Manager for Concur Technologies. She helped establish Concur, a startup company, as one of the leaders in the Corporate Expense Management solutions space. Mele led a highly successful release of a proprietary program that merged multiple code lines into one branch and allowed Concur to simplify future installation scenarios, which provided an immediate benefit to both the company and its customer base. Mele holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Originally from Hawaii, Mele has a passion for island life—the ocean, sand, sun, and family; especially her husband and two daughters. She’s lived in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Norfolk Island, a tiny 3 x 5-mile-long island in the middle of the South Pacific.

Melissa Tindall

Melissa is an experienced marketer in the technology arena with a passion for developing tactical marketing communications. Before joining Projectline, she spent several years at a leading mobile marketing company supporting clients' creative campaigns and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans. She has a well-rounded background with over six years of experience in client services, research, digital marketing, sales, and product training. Melissa studied Communication at the University of Colorado and abroad at Griffith University in Australia. It’s not all work: Recently married, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Riley, at their home in Phinney Ridge or up at the family cabin on San Juan Island. A true Minnesota girl at heart, she loves snow and enjoys doing any activity outdoors as well as volunteering with the Junior League of Seattle. Melissa is an avid Colorado Buffaloes and Minnesota Vikings fan.

Vanessa Turner

Vanessa has a passion for marketing. She brings over five years of customer service and relationship building skills to Projectline. Vanessa graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Marketing Management. It's not all work: Vanessa enjoys spending time outdoors and camping. She also participates in various sports including softball, flag football, and golf. Vanessa is also an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan.

Ramon Vanden Brulle

Ramon comes to Projectline with over 12 years’ professional experience writing, editing, and managing communications. Working with many types of subject-matter experts, he has acquired broad experience in developing clear, technically accurate messaging for a wide range of audiences. He has written press releases, editorials, research reports, project proposals, marketing materials, and Web content. He has experience writing case studies on customers in many industries and segments, from public sector to enterprise to small business, on topics including infrastructure optimization, Microsoft Office, Virtual Earth, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Microsoft Office Groove 2007, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Ramon has been the editor of a quarterly journal and a bi-monthly magazine, and he managed the communication program at a nonprofit research and advocacy organization. As a freelance writer, he has worked in a diverse range of subjects, from science and technology to fly fishing. It's not all work: Ramon spends a lot of time on the water. An avid fly angler, he has fished for salmon, trout, and tuna from Baja California to Vancouver Island. On several Puget Sound rivers, he sometimes guides rafting tours to view eagles, spawning salmon, and other wildlife. Ramon lives with his young son in Seattle, Washington.

Vaite Vierthaler

With more than nine years of experience at Microsoft in marketing, sales, and business development, Vaite has the keen ability to understand business strategy and translate objectives into a manageable, executable plan. She has a proven record of strong project management, adaptability, and pinpoint execution under pressure and tight deadlines. Vaite excels in developing strategic partnerships, cross-group coordination, and communication. Past experiences include developing and executing worldwide channel marketing and sales plans, as well as setting strategic direction for international business development managers and domestic sales channels, both in retail and distribution. Her marketing and sales experience spans channels as she has worked intimately with big box/mass market, online, distribution, original equipment manufacturer, and traditional retail. Vaite is known for her resourceful go-getter attitude and loves a good challenge. It's not all work: A true native—Vaite was raised in Seattle, graduated from the University of Washington, and has yet to leave. When she isn’t teaching or taking Pilates, she spends time with her two children: her Maltese-Poodle mix named Dude and her one-year-old daughter. Vaite’s latest obsession is learning to speak Mandarin with her little girl, who attends emersion school and tutor sessions on a weekly basis.

Rosemary Warden

Rosemary Warden has written and edited in the field of technology for 16 years. Her recent work has been editing and reviewing global case studies for the Microsoft Customer Evidence Team. Before that, she wrote Web articles (for the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC and Home Publishing Web sites) and edited various online content, including step-by-step tutorials, interactive previews, product movie scripts, Help topics, and product demos text. She also has worked as a freelance editor, editing translations from the Chinese language. She has Master's degrees in Psychology and in Asian Languages & Literature. It's not all work: Rosemary has a deep interest in Asian art and culture and practices Chinese qigong and studies East Asian brush painting.

Rebecca Warner

Rebecca Warner brings more than 15 years of product marketing and marketing communication experience to her clients. Building productive customer evidence programs are a key focus with clients that include the Microsoft Business Productivity marketing group, the World Wide Partner Program, the U.S. Business Marketing Organization, and the Interoperability group. As a product manager at Microsoft Corporation, Rebecca designed and directed successful business value communications, customer evidence, and partner marketing programs with activities such as early adopter programs, Web site advertising, press releases, tradeshows, and product launch promotions. Rebecca has considerable practice with a diverse range of marketing collateral, including written and rich-media case studies, video scripts and production, and Internet- and intranet-based campaigns. It’s not all work: Rebecca is a dedicated student of Ashtanga yoga and has spent several months living and studying with her teacher in Mysore, India. She also enjoys snowboarding, road-bike riding, and her daughter Hunter's daily transformations.

Tena West

Tena’s unique background includes sales and marketing, project and account management, business development, technology training, and even documentary filmmaking. Prior to her work with Microsoft, Tena won awards at Vignette for successfully managing enterprise accounts and showcasing her clients’ successes through engaging case studies. Tena’s experience includes selling Microsoft Dynamics business management software, leveraging key relationships with partners to drive platform adoption, and maximizing marketing budgets to execute mutually beneficial marketing goals. Tena most recently helped launch the Microsoft virtualization technology, Hyper-V, by working closely with writers and product teams to produce over 30 case studies. She currently manages customer evidence production for Research In Motion, the makers of Blackberry wireless handheld devices. Tena holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of Washington. It's not all work: Tena loves to travel and in the past couple years has visited the Napa Valley, Hawaii, Greece, and Tanzania. While in Tanzania, Tena conducted technology training for teachers at a secondary school as part of her volunteer commitment to the Mona Foundation, and she continues her commitment to the foundation through local fundraising efforts. She also has plans to go on safari and scuba dive in South Africa, Mozambique, and Swaziland.

Peggy Wiltz

Peggy started out many years ago as a teacher with a History degree, but she quickly discovered that she preferred the soft hum of a computer to the shrieks of unruly children. In spite of that, she has three children of her own, which, combined with her love of computer gaming, led her to earn a Computing degree and move into the children’s game industry. After eight years as a programmer with Humongous Entertainment, Peggy returned to school again; this time to learn ASP.NET and receive her MCAD certification. Currently, Peggy is the Catalog Manager for the Windows Marketplace Team. It's not all work: Peggy has three teenagers and a husband at home.

Heather Woodman

Heather brings a breadth of marketing and field marketing campaign skills to Projectline. Prior to joining Projectline Services, Heather worked for Commonwealth Land Title as the Marketing Coordinator, producing marketing collateral, playing a key role in the execution of a range of marketing campaigns, and helping to develop marketing plans. Before joining the Campaign Desk at Projectline, Heather worked on the IE8 Compatibility Testing program as a Quality-Assurance Manager. Heather earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Washington State University. It's not all work: As a loyal Cougar, you’ll see Heather at just about every football game. During the summer, she can be found at her cabin near Olympia wakeboarding, boating, and riding her beloved Seadoo. She also enjoys snowboarding, cooking, skydiving, sports, and spending time with her family and friends.

April Young

Originally from Seattle, April has experienced corporate marketing at Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Lands’ End. While dabbling in the fashion industry, she has held positions in internal communications, special events, and fashion office departments. After earning her degree from the Marriott School of Business in Management Marketing at Brigham Young University, she worked in database management and led Internet marketing campaigns. It's not all work: April is a frequent picnic-planner, and she loves tailgate parties and BBQs. April and her husband have traveled all over the United States and enjoy the big-city life. She is an avid football fan and still cheers on her local high school team!

Karin Zabel

Karin Zabel has a diverse background in communications. Prior to joining Projectline, Karin led PR research programs for Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, ran a $3 million department at Nordstrom, and developed the Emerging Channels Partner Evidence Program for the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Group. As a Marketing Consultant at Projectline, Karin manages multiple evidence programs, including the Microsoft U.S. Small Business Team and Amalga Healthcare Solutions Group. In these roles, she specializes in video case study management and production and highlights customer stories around the world. Karin is also the Channel Manager for Projectline’s internal podcast channel, CrewTube, where she documents new employee profiles, company events, brown bags, and other fun Projectline activities. Karin's passion, drive, entrepreneurship spirit, and relationship management skills have helped her deliver measurable results throughout her career. Karin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Portland, and she is a certified Project Manager. It's not all work: In her free time, Karin is the VP of Membership for a Young Professionals Networking group called Bean. For the last three years, she has enjoyed volunteering in her community, meeting other professionals in the area, and creating social programs for new Seattleites. Karin enjoys traveling, running in races around the Puget Sound, watching movies, and spending time with family in her hometown of Olympia, Washington.
