Looking for Jobs at Projectline: The Process and the Payoff

If you’re considering a career with Projectline, consider that “Good Decision #1.”

Contacting Projectline about career opportunities is just the first step in a very exciting process.  Having joined Projectline late last year, it’s a process still fresh in my mind.

If you’re already thinking about applying, then you’ve probably seen how dedicated we are to brining our own special brand of Fantastic (that’s a technical term) to everything we do.

This mindset is a big part of the hiring process, too.

Your first step will be trading e-mails with one of our recruiters about a specific position you’ve seen listed online- if you’re lucky, that means getting a response from our resident talent expert, Lena Moses.

Lena will be able to answer every question you have about Projectline (even the ones you’re afraid to ask), and provide you with all the information you’ll need to decide what comes next.

Sometimes this process can take a long time – but don’t get discouraged.  At any given time in an agency there are multiple needs to be filled, internal resources being shifted, and new opportunities emerging.  Be proactive about keeping in touch, but don’t worry about falling through the cracks; when the right role comes up, your phone will ring.

If both you and the recruiter agree that Projectline’s needs match your particular skills, it’s time for the interview process to begin.

Because Projectline puts such an emphasis on team chemistry and office harmony (trust me, this is a very good thing – not some warm/fuzzy abstract that has no practical value), you’ll meet with several team members and answer a lot of questions about yourself, your background and your approach to work.  You’ll likely end up answering a lot of the same questions over and over, but look at it as a chance to practice your delivery.

Once your interviews are over – and in some cases this may take more than one visit – the people you’ve met with will get together to consider how you will meet the needs of upcoming projects and how you’ll fit into Projectline’s culture.

If everyone is in agreement, the job is yours.

It can be a long process, and it’s not unusual for quite a bit of time to pass between each of the opening stages, but a chance to join us here at Projectline is something worth the wait!
