Office Small Business Launch Customer Evidence
Situation: The Microsoft Office System Small-Business Marketing Group wanted to build a foundation of customer evidence to support the January 2007 launch of the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows Vista. In particular, the group wanted case studies that would highlight business challenges and deployment scenarios specific to small businesses.
Solution: From September through December 2006, Projectline spearheaded the Office Small Business customer evidence program. Projectline consultants reached out to 10 Microsoft partners and over 40 small businesses participating in the US Small Business Technology Adoption Program (TAP) to write case studies, produce videos and collect customer-approved quotes. The program involved multiple Microsoft product groups and Projectline subcontractors that produced the case studies and other evidence.

Benefits: Thanks to the fact that Projectline met every deadline during its engagement, the Microsoft Office Business Group had 14 case studies, two customer videos, and over 100 customer quotes available for use during product launch.
